CISCO'S CIRCLE Cisco is a 29 year old Arabian gelding with moderately severe arthritis.
He was saved from starvation by animal control in Mojave, then adopted by a therapeutic riding program. Five years later,
he retired with us. Cisco is our organization's first rescue. He celebrates his 8th anniversary with Spirit of Equus
Rescue in Feb 2010.
Pledge $10 a month or more to help the Rescue meet its rent
obligation so Cisco and our other horses continue to have a place to live. To join, please click on the email

TANNI'S CIRCLE OF LIFE MEMORIAL GIFT Mistanni was a 32 year old Arabian Cob mare who spent 4 years at the Rescue before dying
of heart failure in 2007. Tanni died the day after our PMU foal was born, reminding us of the bitter/sweet circle of
life in the equine world. The foal was named in her honor.

Feb 1! Sponsorships are monthly contributions
to the support of a particular horse. The funds pay for feed first, then healthcare and other needs of the individual horse.
An individual or business may sponsor a horse for any amount and be invoiced
monthly. Currrently, four of our horses are unsponsored: Sunshine and Sierra, Cisco and Tango need new sponsors.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO SPECIAL FUNDS
We have found people turn to non profit rescues when they are in trouble. Their
horses are in need and they became fearful they might have to give up their companion or euthanize him as a last resort. Spirit
of Equus Rescue will serve as a fund organizer in such circumstances and a special fund will be created on behalf of the horse
in need. Usually health issues have caused the crisis and owners are overwhelmed financially. They need support for a period
of time, usually less than a year until the horse recovers.
